Part 4 of the "Vintage Series" by Smooth continues the concept of deep tracks exclusively beeing produced using hardware synthesizers and outboard effects.
On the fourth release in the series of releases, vintage gear like Roland JV-2080, D-50, TR-626, MC-303 and the ESI-4000 Sampler by EMU have been used beside FX-Outboard by TC Electronic. All tracks have been mixed and recorded on the analog mixing console
GL-2200-432 by Allen&Heath.
Expect and explore some serious, deep Dubtechno. From beatless and Ambient influenced tracks to long upbuilding tracks, focussed onto rhythm and space.
Ladies and Gentlemen, thanks for listening and support!
You kind of know where this is going but that's more than ok because the vibe tells a story and ticks the boxes of gratifying summer night ambiance. It opens with feelings of a humid storm moving into a late night road trip looking for a Motel and bar.... well, in my imagination xxx Liza Nicklin
Rather than answering why do I love this album, I am gonna offer another question. Why don't you own it already? This is Dub Techno for the connoisseur. This is a piece of class music. I see it as a tribute to the bootlegs from back when vinyl was all there was. Ahh, times do change. Go ahead and download it, the music's boss. Bethelina_DJ
